Jay Hamachek and his wife Babs are lifelong Oregonians. Professionally, Jay is a Safety, Environmental, Health & Sustainability consultant. Jay retired after working 44 years for the world’s largest publicly traded Malting company which supplied malt for the leading international and local brewers and distillers. Jay headed the Global compliance, health and sustainability team that operated in seven countries around the world. Jay has always believed in giving back to the communities he lives in. He has served in leadership positions with the City of Lake Oswego, the Lake Oswego Corporation, Lake Oswego Sustainability Advisory Board, Rotary and his church.
